Just a quick post before we all get under way today.
Of course the combined first and second grade competition isn't the only flags worthy of mention. Here are the predictions for grades three to seven..
Grade Three:
Five sides are lining up in this grade, and the recently relegated Coffs Ex Services deserves favouritism over Sawtell.. Park Beach and Scotts Head will be in the mix as will Woolgoolga, however as Woopi have lost a number of bowlers they have their work cut out for them this season...
Grade Four:
Six sides will line up with newly promoted Bellingen early favourites. Nambucca is the smoky in this grade.
Grade Five:
Of the six grades contesting it will be the two southern clubs Macksville and Stuarts Point who will start favourites. This will also be Woogoolga's best chance of a flag.
Grade Six:
Probably the most open of the grades, however of the six Park Beach, Urunga and Sawtell may hold favouritism.
Grade Seven:
In section 7.1 Nambucca Heads and Park Beach will be tough to beat whilst in section 7.2 Woolgoolga and Coffs Ex Services will be expected to dominate. Interesting to note that ten teams over all are contesting this grade. Four more than any other grade!
Good Luck to all and may the luck be shared!
