Mail received suggest that South Tamworth are the first team to book a place at Ballina for the NSW first grade finals, defeating Walgett, and reigning zone champions Armidale City for the Zone Three title. The team's youth will be a big advantage, with State Under 25 representative Chris Herden skipping one rink, 2010 NSW most improved bowler of the year Ben Golledge skipping another, and Ben's brother, 2010 NSW state reserve tour member Nick Golledge at the helm of the the third rink.
