Spectators were in awe of the skills and talent of the two finalists in the Mid-North Coast District Lawn Bowling Junior Championship contested at West Coffs Bowling Club on Sunday morning March 18.
Josh Hicks representing Park Beach Club matched up against West Coffs junior Corey Wedlock in a sensational contest but with Wedlock in brilliant form the outcome was never in doubt.
15 year old Corey Wedlock displayed why he is in the Bowls NSW State under 18 team with a copybook display of pin-point accuracy in blustery conditions to take out the 2012 District Junior Championship title with a 31-9 final score that did not do justice to the excellent bowling and determination of his worthy opponent.
