The two sides promoted in the 2012 season face off at Sawtell this Saturday with the locals looking to continue their good start as a first grade side against grade two newcomers Nambucca Heads who after their loss at home in round one will be desperate to improve their standing.
At West Coffs the home side will be trying to make amends when they clash with Park Beach seconds in what should be the match of the round, whilst at Park Beach the Parky firsts will host Urunga.
For Urunga, West Coffs and Nambucca, a second straight defeat will see them just about lose touch with first place in only two rounds, whilst the three sides leading the way, this weekend gives them an opportunity to gain a much needed upper hand over their opposition, in particular for Park Beach seconds, who were the only round one victors of the second graded sides.
In Grade Three, Scotts Head get their first start of the season when they travel to Woolgoola. Park Beach will be looking to recover when they host Coffs Ex Services.
The Grade Four match of the round will be between two of the first start winners in Urunga and Park Beach whilst Coffs Ex Services and Nambucca will clash hoping to get their first win of the season.
Coffs Ex Services hosting Bowraville will be the highlight of Grade Five whilst in Grade Six the clash between Sawtell and West Coffs will be as good as any other.
Finally in Grade Seven Nambucca Heads and Woolgoolga get their first matches against last start winners Park Beach and Urunga respectively.
Good Luck to all!
Chippy
