Pennant Round Three Results

Park Beach firsts showed no mercy in the local derby against the Twos on a day where their nearest rivals stumbled in the combined first and second grade division. The Firsts took all six points on offer against the Seconds to move clear at the top of the ladder. West Coffs travelled to Nambucca Heads and despite claiming two rinks, couldn't overcome the home team on the big board, Nambucca prevailing for their first win this season 4 - 2.
Urunga were responsible for the upset of the round with a morale boosting 5 - 1 victory at home against the second placed Sawtell. The win was also their first for the year and has given them hope of taking out the second grade flag. The results of this round see Park Beach Firsts move 7.5 points clear of Sawtell. Only 2.5 points separates the four second grade sides with West Coffs the best of these despite the loss today.

As results are missing in grades three and five, these grades will be updated later...

In Grade Four, the previously undefeated Bellingen and Park Beach were both on the wrong side of the score board, Park Beach losing by a single shot against Coffs Ex Services. In fact all three lower placed sides had wins over the top three with Sawtell claiming a maiden victory over Nambucca Heads.

Grade Six saw Nambucca resume control at the top of the ladder with a victory as Park Beach inflicted the first defeat of the year on Sawtell in a close encounter. North Beach also grabbed its first success for 2012, leaving West Coffs alone at the bottom in this grade.

Grade Seven section one continues to be dominated by Bowraville who defeated what was their nearest rivals in Park Beach. Nambucca have moved into second place with a narrow victory over Macksvile. In Section Two Urunga suffered their first loss at the hands of Coffs Exervices but are still four points clear at the top of the table, whilst Woolgolga proved too strong for Park Beach to open their account for the year.

Grades Three and Five to be updated once results available...

Congrats to the winners
