Round Two Pennant Results

Park Beach and Sawtell continued on their winning way in round two of the combined First and Second Grade pennant yesterday whilst West Coffs scored their first victory of the season. At Park Beach the home side proved just a touch too good on each rink scoring maximum points against Urunga. Sawtell had a much tougher time of things when they hosted Nambucca Heads however managed to hold on to a 4-2 victory. West Coffs proved too strong at home for the Park Beach seconds scoring a 5-1 success to get their campaign back on track.
In Grade Three Woolgoolga and Park Beach managed their first wins of the season to tie up the leader board. Sawtell is a point behind Coffs, Woopi and Park beach but has the advantage as they have already had the bye.
Grade Four saw Bellingen and Park Beach keep their unbeaten records intact whilst Nambucca scored their first win of the year to move into third place.
Grade Five has just the one unbeaten side with Coffs Ex Services moving clear at the top defeating Bowraville. Stuarts Point is still looking for their first win.
Sawtell and Nambucca Heads remain unbeaten in Grade Six whilst Park Beach managed a home victory to get their season on the right path.
Finally in the Grade Seven sections Bowraville and Urunga have skipped clear in their respective divisions as the only teams unbeaten who have not had byes.
Attention today turns to the opening rounds of the district fours being played at Park Beach. To all involved good luck and take a rain coat!
